September 16, 2015 by · Leave a Comment

Common-Mistakes-that-Entrepreneur’s-MakeThere are many mistakes that entrepreneur’s commonly make along the road to success. From lack of execution to inconsistency, there comes a point where enough is enough. Here is a list that will keep you on that golden, straight road.

Lack of Planning

Improper planning can lead to missed opportunities. Without a proper plan there is bound to be a series of problems to follow. Take the time to think ahead. Your future is what you want it to be, make it happen by putting in the time and effort to maintain organization and consistency. Develop better habits by building schedules and making educated decisions.

Work without Passion

When you lack passion in your life pursuit, you’re walking a long and lonely path. Building a company solely based on a profit without interest of any sort gives entrepreneur’s a bad name. Ask yourself, why are you doing this? What impact can you make on today’s market? Are you happy with what you’re doing?

Perfection is Never Guaranteed

While perfection is a glorious thing to strive for, it’s not what makes a company successful. A nontraditional approach to your craft could become the world’s next big trend. Your ideas are something that you truly care about. Don’t let others fool you into believing that you have to stick to traditional methods. Becoming an entrepreneur is all about thinking outside the box.

How to Turn Your Dreams into Goals

Dreams are the big things we want in life, but they’re called dreams for a reason. Often times, our dreams are the unattainable wants, the things or ideas that seem too out of reach. So why then do some people achieve their dreams? The answer might have to do with how they perceive them.

Do you have a desire or dream that seems out of reach? It might be because you’re wearing the wrong glasses. The wrong glasses make you fall in love with your dreams. But falling in love with your dreams isn’t as positive as it sounds. In fact, Dr. Eric Amidi suggests that the act of falling in love with a dream makes it unreachable. This is because once you’re in love with a dream, you place it on a pedestal.

Instead, consider turning your dream into a practical goal. In order to do this, you must wear a different set of glasses, one that allows you to see the dream as it truly is. Dr. Eric Amidi says that when you fall in love with something, it makes you see it as something better than what it really is. Once you bring the dream back down to Earth, you can turn it into a practical goal. As a goal, you can start walking down the path you will need to take to reach it. Dr. Eric Amidi adds that making your dreams reachable will make it possible for you to manifest them in your life.

The Feeling of Wanting Manifests Desires

When it comes to getting the things we want in life, people have many tactics. Successful people are straightforward and confident about their goals; they write them down, and take the necessary steps required to achieve them. They stay on course and eventually succeed. But for the rest of us, it’s hard to focus on our goals. And for many of us, we don’t even know where to start. So what’s the secret to manifesting our desires? I came across this interesting blog post by Dr. Eric Amidi that suggests it has to do with the feeling of wanting.

But before we discuss the feeling of wanting, it’s important to distinguish it from the feeling of needing. In fact, in his writings, quantum physicist Dr. Eric Amidi explains that the feeling of needing and wanting are very different and knowing the difference is the key to manifesting our desires. According to Dr. Amidi, the feeling of needing is one of scarcity. He explains that people who are needy act as if their life will fall apart if they don’t get the things they want; “They make their happiness depend on it.”

On the other hand, the feeling of wanting promotes manifestations because the person can let go and project an attitude of joy regardless of the outcome. Dr. Eric Amidi suggests spending time thinking about the two feelings until you can feel the difference. He adds that most people as well as the universe respond better to you when you’re not needy but when you simply want something. So spend some time thinking about those two feelings and try to project an attitude of joy when you think about the things you want to accomplish in this life.

Turn Murphy’s Law On Its Head

Written by Dr. Eric Amidi,

By now, almost everyone knows Murphy’s Law: “Anything that can go wrong will go wrong.” It may be an old adage but there’s also something dangerous about it. If someone believes in Murphy’s Law, the chances are that bad things will continue to happen in their lives. It’s not a statement about the inevitability of bad things happening in life but a self-fulfilling prophecy: people who believe that bad things are around the corner are doomed to have bad things happen to them.

The Law of Attraction shows us that the type of energy that we put out with our thoughts attracts similar results in our lives. Thinking negative thoughts such as Murphy’s Law will only make us a magnet for things to “go wrong” in our lives. Believing in Murphy’s Law is essentially giving negative energy an invitation to creep into your life and never leave.

You can reverse this by turning Murphy’s Law on its head. Instead of thinking that anything that can go wrong will go wrong, put this to use instead: “Anything that can go right will go right.” This serves as a reminder that there is no reason that you can’t have a life filled with abundance. If you see something that is possible, it is within your reach. All you need to do is to apply your positive energy toward it and believe that good things will come to you. If you want things to go right in your life, just believe that they will and there’s a good chance you’ll be proved correct.

Dr. Eric Amidi has helped countless people to achieve abundance through his knowledge of the Law of Attraction. Using his background as a physicist, Eric Amidi has developed a philosophy for living that incorporates his understanding of how the brain works.
